Adidas today launched special, limited-edition Adidas X 15.1 football boots as part of the 'Deadly Focus' pack. Featuring a faux snakeskin upper, the limited Adidas X 15.1 Deadly Focus cleats were released as one of, if not the last last-ever drop of the first-generation Adidas X boots.
For the Deadly Focus Pack, Adidas collaborated with Italia Independent, a brand Adidas collaborated with before and whose logo is present on the sockliner of the boots.
When speaking about the collaboration, Lapo Elkann, one of the founders of Italia Independent and designers on the boot, said: “The Deadly Focus pack captures my love for creativity and football. adidas and I have introduced new creative elements to this boot, elements that have never been seen before in the world of football performance.”

The Deadly Focus Adidas X 15.1 boots boast a extravagant, snakeskin-like upper structure in black and white, while the sole plate, X cage, laces and sockliner are entirely black. All Adidas brandings on the limited-edition Adidas X 15.1 Deadly Focus cleats are also black, completing a fierce and bold look.
On the design of the boot, Elkann said: “The print is aimed to surprise you. You normally find prints like this on luxury goods. This time, we wanted to transfer it to the world of sport. It’s fun, it’s exciting and it pushes boundaries – something that both Italia Independent and adidas like to do!”
From a technological standpoint, the Deadly Focus Adidas X 15.1 boots are identical to the regular-edition Adidas X cleats. They feature a thin, lightweight synthetic upper with an external cage on both sides in order to improve stability. On top of that, the Deadly Focus Adidas X 15.1 limited-edition soccer boots are built on a unique mixed sole plate, designed to work on both artificial grass (AG) and firm ground (FG) surfaces.
Just like the 'Fluid Black' Adidas X 15 soccer cleats, launched one month prior, the limited-edition Adidas X 15.1 Deadly Focus football boots retail at a price of $220, slightly higher than the regular version.
