Cape Verde has announced Capelli Sport as its new kit supplier for the 2026 World Cup. The US-based brand replaces Tempo Sport, whose four-year deal with the Cape Verdean Football Federation (FCF) expired at the end of 2025. Thanks to the local site CrioloSports for the info.

Capelli to Make Cape Verde 2026 World Cup Kits

FCF President Mário Semedo confirmed the partnership in an interview with TCV, stating that Capelli offered "by far the best conditions" among several competing brands. The decision was made by an internal committee led by the FCF Ethics Commission President, alongside vice-presidents and marketing officials.

Semedo described Capelli as a brand looking to establish itself in the market and expressed confidence that the federation made the right choice for Cape Verdean football. Representatives from Capelli are expected to visit Cape Verde in the coming days to finalize arrangements.

The Blue Sharks have been drawn in Group H for the 2026 World Cup alongside Spain, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay. The tournament will be held across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
