English club Sheffield Wednesday and jersey supplier Sondico today unveiled the new home, away and third kits for the upcoming Championship season after narrowly missing out on Premier League promotion last season.

Sheffield Wednesday are the latest team that usually sports striped shirts to opt for a pinstripes look. The Sheffield Wednesday 2016-2017 shirt is bright blue with white pinstripes, a white polo collar and further detailing in the color on the sleeves and sides. The new Sheffield Wednesday home kit shorts are blue with white stripes on both sides, while the socks are blue with two white hoops.
The first Sheffield Wednesday shirt to return to the new old Wednesday badge, unveiled in January this year. The Owls stated that the new home kit draws inspiration from a jersey worn in the early 1960s.
The Sheffield Wednesday 16-17 away kit black, combined with striking orange trim. Here, the shorts are all-orange, while the socks are hooped and feature both colors.
Finally, the Sheffield Wednesday 2016-17 third jersey is white with a sky blue collar, sky blue shorts and hooped socks. '1867', the club's founding year, and 'SWFC' are woven into the sleeves of the new third shirt.
