No More Nike After 10 Years: Rodrygo to Join Adidas

Update: In Real Madrid's latest training session, Rodrygo was spotted wearing the newest Adidas F50 boots. This strongly suggests that he may be leaving Nike after 10 years to join Adidas.

Update: In yesterday's match against Valencia, Rodrygo was spotted wearing whiteout Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 boots. This is further evidence that he and Nike are on the verge of parting ways.

Rodrygo to Join Adidas

By wearing Adidas F50 boots, complete with the tag ID on them, it strongly suggests that Rodrygo may be on his way to joining the Three Stripes.

Although he hasn't officially confirmed a move to any brand, Rodrygo has been seen wearing both Puma and Adidas boots recently, indicating that he's likely set to part ways with Nike after more than a decade - a relationship that began when he was just a kid.

Wearing blackout boots, black painted boots are often a sign that a player is about to leave his boot supplier. Rodrygo wore the Vapor 16 'Shadow' boots released from summer 2024.

Previously an ambassador for the Phantom silo, Rodrygo switched to wearing the Mercurial Vapor in early 2024.
