Adidas to Reuse Authentic Badge for 2026 World Cup Kits

Leaked images of the new 2026 World Cup kits for Mexico, Colombia, and Italy have confirmed that Adidas will reuse the same authentic licensed product badge from their 2024 kits. This is a surprising move that breaks the brand's usual two-year cycle of introducing a new badge design for their authentic jerseys.

The white rectangular badge with gold detailing, first introduced for the Euro 2024 and Copa América 2024 kits, is clearly visible on the leaked 2026 home shirts for multiple federations.

This also solves the mystery of another badge that was leaked earlier. It is now understood that the unique tag featuring a classic boot is a special, one-off authentic badge created exclusively for Germany's 2026 kits.

This is likely to commemorate the final kits Adidas will produce for the German national team before Nike takes over the contract in 2027.

Two Badge Versions: Performance & Trefoil

It is expected that Adidas will continue the system used for the 2024 kits, employing two versions of the badge for the 2026 World Cup, corresponding to the logo used on the shirt.
