German Bundesliga team Gladbach today announced that Puma will become their new kit supplier. Puma has already been Borussia Mönchengladbach's kit supplier between 1976 and 1992 when the club won several Bundesliga titles and the UEFA Cup.
Puma to Make Gladbach Kits From 2018
Kappa has been Gladbach's kit supplier for several years.
Borussia Mönchengladbach's Puma kit deal is valid from the 2018-19 season for at least six years.
"The contract with PUMA is not only of strong emotional significance for us, but is also a landmark step into the future," said Borussia chief executive Stephan Schippers.
"As a world-renowned and popular sports brand, PUMA has a great level of expertise in the development of functional team sport collections and in the distribution of licensed products. We look forward to great joint campaigns, starting in the 2018/19 season. At the same time, we would also like to thank our current supplier Kappa for a very cooperative and successful partnership, from which we expect much more in the 2017/18 season."
It is reported that Gladbach's deal with Puma could be worth up to 100 million Euro for ten seasons, including bonuses.

Puma already makes the kits for Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and famous club VfB Stuttgart. However, the German brand will not renew their deal with 2. Bundesliga club Fortuna Düsseldorf.
