Juventus Receive Extra €50 Million As They Renegotiate Jeep Deal

Italian giants Juventus yesterday announced a reworking of their sponsorship deal with Jeep.

Increased Juventus Jeep Deal Worth 25 Million Euro Extra Per Season For Two Seasons

The new deal sees the car manufacturer pay an extra €25 million a season through to the end of the 2020/21 campaign. The original deal with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) [Jeep] was signed in 2012 until 2021. All other factors excep the money remain the same as those from the original deal.

Last month, it was already reported that Juventus and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) would be close to an extension of their existing deal. Their current deal is worth a guaranteed €17 million) per season. Bonuses also took that amount to €20 million.

With the reworked arrangement, the remainder of the deal would be worth a minimum of €42 million a year.

A statement on Juventus’ website read: ‘It is announced that, due to the excellent sport performances achieved in recent years by the first team which contributed to the club’s improved Uefa ranking, and due to the increased Juventus brand awareness at a worldwide level, Juventus Football Club SpA. and FCA Italy SpA. agreed to increase the yearly fixed Jeep sponsorship consideration by €25 million for 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 football seasons, including of certain additional sponsorship rights.

‘The other provisions set out in the sponsorship agreement executed in April 2012 and in force until 30 June 2021 remain unchanged’.

Juventus also announced that negotiations with Jeep have already begun to renew the partnership beyond the current agreement.
