A few days ago we posted about Celtic defender Jeremie Frimpong wearing blacked-out Puma Ultra boots in training.
Very much resembling the discontinued evoSPEED, we have been able to get more details on the upcoming Puma Ultra boots.
In case you missed it, the Puma Ultra will replace the ONE next season.
Puma Ultra - Features
The Puma Ultra is made for "uncatchable speed" and ignites a "new era of fast" for the brand. A lightweight speed boot, the Puma Ultra features the new lightweight "MATRYXEVO" upper.
Constructed with reactive Kevlar and Carbon yarns, the MATRYXEVO upper aims to provide support during fast-forward motion. There's an additional GripControl Pro coating to improve ball control.
The "SpeedUnit" sole plate is inspired by running spikes. All in all, the Puma Ultra boots are designed to offer a reliable mix of agility, traction, control and speed.
Puma Ultra - Colorways
The Puma Ultra will make its debut in mid-July in an orange / black colorway.
A blackout edition is set to follow later that month.
