If you only follow European football in the best leagues (Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, La Liga) you might not even know that there are some competitions that have more lenient rules regarding the amount and size of kit sponsors.
Of course, there are also examples for really atrocious sponsors making football kits unwearable in Europe such as the Austrian Bundesliga, but this phenomenon is first and foremost present in South America.
Destroyed By Sponsors - Nike Corinthians 20-21 Third Kit - Tribute To Small English Club
Sports journalist @Alex_MFC_ has shared four pictures of edited Champions League 21-22 kits. Instead of featuring the normal sponsor logos of each team (one on the chest & one on the left sleeve) these football shirts come with various sponsor logos in many different spots.
It is very interesting to experience how overwhelming this gets with some examples such as BVB's 2021-22 home jersey where there are even blue panels on the sides for one sponsor logo.
Unfortunately, not everything is perfect regarding the 21-22 kits for European top teams with their regular sponsors. One example is Borussia Dortmund, who do have a large box sponsor logo since last season.
Luckily, we will not see this logo on Champions League nights as Evonik still holds the rights for international competitions. However, the sponsor logo of 1&1 (worn in the Bundesliga) basically interfers with every single imaginable look except for a plain yellow top perhaps.
