France Home Kit Evolution - From 2004 (Adidas) Until 2024 (Nike), Incl. Leaked Euro 2024 Kit

With the fresh yet classic France Euro 2024 having been leaked, we take a look at the evolution of France's kits in the past 20 years.

France Hoem Kit History - 2004 Until 2024

France have had only three different kit makers in their history - Le Coq Sportif (1966-72), Adidas (1972-2010) and Nike (2011 onwards).

Adidas France Kits - 2004 Until 2010

Since 2004 and their last years as France's kit supplier, Adidas did not come up with any revolutions, except for their last kit. The 2010 World Cup home kit introduced an unusual navy color, which should define the next years, even with Nike.

Nike France Kits - 2011 Until Euro 2024

In 2011, Nike took over from Adidas as the official kit supplier for the French national team. Nike's kits for France have been mostly well received, with some being quite popular (e.g. 2019 anniversary, 2014 & 2018 World Cup home kits).

One of the most notable things about the evolution of France's home kits since 2004 is the use of color. The team's traditional home kit colors are bright royal blue, white, and red. However, in recent years, France have worn home kits in a variety of different shades of blue, and most times even navy.

Nike's Euro 2024 kit is already very popular among traditionalists

For the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament, Nike are returning to France's classic blue colors for the home kit, with tricolor detailing. The kit will also feature a classic, big rooster as the crest.
