West London’s community came together to remember those affected by the Grenfell Tower disaster at Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon. We take a look at the football boots worn by both well-known people (former and current players, celebrities) as well as people who witnessed the disaster and took also part in the Game4Grenfell match.
80 residents lost their lives in the fire on 14th June 2017 and 17,468 spectators packed inside QPR’s stadium, which is just a mile away from the tower. The match saw a mixture of current and former pros alongside celebrities over 90 minutes. One side, Team Ferdinand, was led by former QPR striker Les Ferdinand whilst the other, Team Shearer, was managed by ex-England forward Alan Shearer.

Peter Crouch logically laced up in his bots that he also wears for Stoke City - the Nike Tiempo Legend VII.
Oluwaseun Talabi (Grenfell Resident) - Lower-Tier Nike Tiempo
Grenfell resident Oluwaseun Talabi, who escaped from the 14th floor of Grenfell Tower, wore a lower-tier version of the classy black, white and golden Nike Tiempo 2017 boots.
