Liverpool FC youngster Jordon Ibe has become the next player to switch from the Nike Hypervenom Boots to the Nike Mercurial Vapor X Cleats, joining various high-profile players such as Neymar, Isco and Aubameyang.
Interestingly, Jordon Ibe was the first professional to lace up in the next-gen Nike Hypervenom Phantom 2 Boot in mid-May 2015, while he switched to low-cut Nike Hypervenom Phinish Boots in late August 2015.

Jordon Ibe uses a non-modified version of the Squadron Blue Nike Mercurial Vapor 10 Cleats, which were released in late September 2015. The Nike Mercurial Vapor X Boots are engineered for speed with a ultra-thin Teijin microfiber upper while providing ultimate lockdown with a tongue-less design.
Ibe was subbed on in the 83th minute in the Premier League match against Southampton on Sunday. One week ago, when he played three minutes in the 0-0 draw against Tottenham, the 19-year old striker still laced up in the Hyper Grape Nike Hypervenom Phinish Boots.
