Real Madrid 16-17 Third Kit Released

The new Real Madrid 16-17 third kit combines black and purple, fitting in nicely with the Real Madrid 16-17 home and away jerseys. Additionally, it pays homage to the club's tradition to celebrate titles at the Plaza de Cibeles with a bespoke graphic on both sleeves.

Adidas unveiled the new Real Madrid 2016-17 home and away shirts in mid-July 2016, before finishing the collection with the black-and-purple Real Madrid 2016-2017 third kit at the end of the month. Long-term club partner Emirates continues as main sponsor for the new Real Madrid kits.

The new Real Madrid 2016-17 third shirt is mostly black, with white club and sponsor logos and dark pale purple Adidas stripes running down on both sides. The sleeve cuffs and v-collar of the Real Madrid 2016-2017 third shirt are black.

The standout feature of the new Real Madrid third kit is a graphic inspired by the Plaza de Cibeles, the place where Real Madrid players and supporters traditionally celebrate title wins, most recently the 2016 Champions League at the end of last season. It features on both sleeves of the Real Madrid third jersey.

Black shorts and socks with similar accent colors complement the new Real Madrid 16-17 third shirt, set to be used as primary international away jersey.
