The Adidas Arsenal 2020-21 away jersey boast a striking design that was much discussed by people. However, while many compared it to a crime scene, we are able to reveal what is the (likely) inspiration of the Arsenal 20-21 away kit.
Arsenal FC 20-21 Away Kit Inspired By Famous Marble Hall Of Highbury Stadium
The Adidas Arsenal 20-21 away football shirt is inspired by the he Marble Halls at Highbury, Arsenal's old stadium.
The marble hall is part of the East Stand of Highbury. The Marble Hall has a bust statue of Herbert Chapman, the manager who transformed Arsenal in the 30s into a major football club.
The facade of Arsenal's East Stand is one part of Highbury that remains in place despite the Club's move to Emirates Stadium and the demolition of their old home. The East Stand, containing the famous Marble Halls, is a Grade II listed building. Built in 1936 to compliment the Victorian houses in the surrounding area, it was constructed in the Art Deco style of architecture which was popular between the wars.
