Dortmund 23-24 Special Kit
This picture shows the Puma Borussia Dortmund 2023-24 special-edition 'Westfalenstadion' jersey.
The Puma Dortmund 23-24 special jersey pays tribute to the 50-year anniversary of the club's stadium. The club celebrates the stadium's 50-year anniversary heavily in 2024, including a special book, a special anniversary badge, and a special jersey.
Borussia Dortmund's stadium, Signal Iduna Park (known as Westfalenstadion), is known for its passionate fans and iconic "Yellow Wall." With a capacity of over 81,000, it's one of Germany's largest football stadiums. The Westfalenstadion was opened on 2 April 1974, almost 50 years ago.
The Dortmund 23-24 special-edition 'Westfalenstadion' kit is predominantly yellow with a black center stripe and includes an abstract collage of images of the stadium applied throughout. The 1974 crest is used and can be seen on the chest of the shirt.
The numbers feature a red border as a tribute to the original colors of the floodlight towers and the city of Dortmund.
It's the classic crest that was in use when the Westfalenstadion opened in 1974.
Further giving the shirt a retro feel, the BVB 2023-24 50th anniversary Westfalenstadion kit features a darker yellow, similar to the Adidas shirts from the 1970s.
The pattern of the shirt features a unique collage of the stadium's four different building phases.

The BVB 23-24 special goalkeeper kit is red with the stadium design as a full all-over print.
The Puma Dortmund 2023-2024 special football shirt is sold as a not strictly limited edition for 100 Euro. We have been told that if it is sold out, it will be restocked.
BVB has released several special-edition kits in recent years. The last one was a huge success - Dortmund sold almost 90,000 special jerseys in the previous season, which alone generated sales of around EUR 7 million.
