It might be all about the return of the bold 1990s kit designs currently. However, there are still many fans who prefer the classic designs of the pre-1990s era, especially the 1970s. Now the iconic Double Diamond brand Umbro has shared four of their striped jerseys of the 1970s.

Crystal Palace | 1971 - 1973

The first shirt belongs to Crystal Palace. Used by the club as away shirt between 1971 and 1973, this striped Umbro kit is white with a blue / red central stripe.
Glasgow Select 11 | 1977

A colorful look, this Umbro kit was worn by a Glasgow FA select team against a Football League team to celebrate the Queen's Silver Jubilee in 1977 at Hampden Park. It incorporates the colors of Celtic, Clyde, Partick Thistle, Queens Park and Rangers.
Watford | 1974 - 1976
This Watford kit from 1974 combines the club's traditional yellow and black colors. It has two black vertical stripes on the left side.
Coventry City | 1972 - 1975
Black and green, the Coventry City 1972-1975 away kit features Green and Black stripes. The Green and Black stripes were brought back by the club for the 2018-19 season as third kit.
