In another story of a far-flung club referencing a Milan club's kit, Mexican third division side Leviatán FC played a match in fake Inter away shirts recently as their own kits had been stolen before the game.

Mexican Team Wear Fake Inter Kits
The 14th of January was not a good day day for Leviatán FC for a few reasons. It started off badly when their kits were stolen shortly before their game away to Cafetaleros in the Liga Premier de México, the country's third tier of football. With nothing to wear, they were forced to go and buy an emergency set of kits. There mustn't have been time to find some generic teamwear shirts, so instead they settled on some bootleg versions of Inter's 21-22 away kit.
The shirts weren't the most convincing fakes either, as the snake design had been interpreted differently to how it looked on the real kit. The Inter crest, Socios Fan Token sponsor and Scudetto badge, however, all made clear whose shirts these were supposed to be. Leviatán lost the match 2-0, but the victory would have been awarded to Cafetaleros in any case, as Leviatán had committed the heinous crime of wearing a kit that was not registered with the league. To add insult to injury, they may also receive a fine.
Would you agree that the punishment is litte bit extreme given the circumstances? Comment below.
