Japan will play its final group game of the 2018 World Cup later today. Let's take a look at two fantastic concept jerseys created by the creatives over at La Casaca.
Inspired by the current Adidas style, both Japan concept kits each derive from one classic kit worn by Japan in the 1990s.
The first one draws inspiration from the legendary flames design found on the Japan 1998 World Cup shirt and reinvents in a more understated and streamlined application. Tasty.
In a similar way, the second is inspired by the 1994 jersey, again featuring a modernized version of the classic print found on the original.
