1974 and 1978 World Cup runners-up Netherlands (eliminated by Belgium and France) totally surprisingly did not qualify for the 1982 World Cup in Spain. Their prospected Adidas jerseys for the tournament featured classy pinstripes design and were used by the country for several years back then.
Adidas Netherlands 1986 Kits
Four years later, Netherlands again failed to reach the World Cup after they were eliminated in the play-off against Belgium. Adidas' prospected Holland 1986 World Cup jersey again featured a stylish design with jacquard stripes in the country's traditional colors.
Nike Netherlands 2002 Kits
Nike became Netherlands' kit supplier ahead of the 1998 World Cup in France, replacing Lotto. While France was qualified for the 1998 World Cup, the country famously missed out the tournament in Japan and South Korea four years later.
The Netherlands 2002 home and away kits were based on Nike's streamlined kit template for the 2002 World Cup, which was won by Brazil using the same template as the Netherlands.
Logically, Nike will release a new Netherlands jersey that was prospected to be used in Russia next year, and we are already leaked the first details.
