The second colorway of the second-generation Adidas Ace 16.1 soccer cleats introduces an ambivalent look for the silo, combining a traditional black base with pink and garish green trim.
Adidas first unveiled the Ace in summer 2015, marketing it as the boot for the player who controls the game. Just over a half year on, the second generation of the Adidas Ace soccer cleats aims to do away with some of the problems that plagued the initial launch.
Adidas Ace 16.1 - Black / Solar Green / Shock Pink
This is the next-gen Adidas Ace 16.1 football boots in the "Black / Solar Green / Shock Pink" paint job.
Almost entirely black, the newest Adidas Ace 16.1 2016 football boot colorway features striking accents in Solar Green and Shock Pink. Whereas the former is used for the laces and upper part of the lateral and medial stripes, the bold pink shade illuminates all Adidas brandings, the base of the Three Stripes and the bottom part of the studs.
The re-engineered upper of the black Adidas Ace 16.1 soccer boots boasts a three-layer synthetic material, designed to offer an improved first touch and ball control in general. On top of that, the Adidas Ace 16.1 boot upper includes an all-over 3D structure with an added grip texture.
The outsole of the black / green / pink Adidas Ace 2016 soccer cleats completely ditches the second layer of conical studs seen in the first generation, and instead opts for a more traditional design. The re-designed lightweight AG / FG Hybrid sole plate comes with four conical studs in the heel area and seven studs in the forefoot area. The Adidas Ace 2016 boots also feature a new external heel counter for more stability.
Launched in late January 2016, the "Black / Solar Green / Shock Pink" Adidas Ace 2016 cleats have a RRP of 210 Euro, 200 USD, 150 GBP.
