Israeli Premier League champions, Maccabi Haifa will switch from Nike to Adidas from the 2023-24 season.
Nike has been with the club for several different time periods but on the most recent one, has been with Maccabi Haifa since the 2011-12 season.
The new agreement with Adidas should be will be financially better as the club was on this season's UEFA Champions League group stage, giving it more visibility and importance from a European football fan point of view.
MACCABI & NIKE HOME KIT HISTORY
Signing with Adidas is a positive move for the club in a bid to distance themselves from the basic templates they got from Nike and hoping they get more customization options with the German brand, as they did last time their partnership existed.
However, one Nike design stands out as the perfect application of a template in the club´s history.
During the '80s and '90s, there were several Adidas shirts of the club.
The club has already teased two Adidas products, one lifestyle t-shirt, and one Champions t-shirt but no official kits were leaked or released.
From next season, the German sportswear brand will have two teams in the Israeli Premier League, Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Tel Aviv.
