According to @mundodeportivo, Barcelona will sign an agreement with the energy drink of YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI, an agreement in which they seek to expand their base of young fans.
Barcelona continues to try to increase its extra-sports income. In this sense, it is moving to explore relationships with new brands in the different market sections one being the official energy drink of the club. Until June 30, Barça has a contract in effect with PRIME's main competitor, Gatorade. But from the start of the new 2023-24 season, Barcelona will sign a deal with PRIME Hydration.
It is an American company that is now having a huge presence among young people who practice sports. Among other things, because its creators and representatives are two well-known YouTubers, Logan Paul and KSI. Both are well-known characters, especially in the United States and the United Kingdom, but their fame has already gone around the world.
Both met in two boxing matches in 2018 and 2019 and since then they have maintained a good friendship that led them to create this brand of energy drinks. Logan Paul continued with his idea of succeeding in combat sports and heis now one of the rising stars of WWE, the most recognized wrestling competition in the world. KSI is a jack-of-all-trades, compoing music, having a huge brand portfolio and being one, if not, the best Youtuber boxing.
The media exposure of Logan Paul and KSI will be of great help for Barcelona in their goal of expanding their fan base around the world and especially in the United States, where the Catalans will carry out the pre-season tour this summer and there could be some commercial actions, as happened with Spotify last year.
PRIME's growth has been exponential since its launch and the company already has major sponsorship deals with Arsenal and the UFC.
