England Front Kit Number Placed Below Swoosh, Differing From Product Images

In yesterday's friendly match against Japan, England officially debuted their new 2026 World Cup home kit. However, a highly interesting detail regarding the placement of the front shirt number quickly caught the attention of kit enthusiasts.

England 2026 World Cup Kit Font Released

England Front Kit Number Placed Below Swoosh

When the Three Lions took to the pitch, their front kit numbers were printed on the right chest, positioned directly below the Nike Swoosh. This decision caused immediate surprise and some confusion among fans, as it completely contradicts the promotional product images.

According to the official pictures released by Nike and the official England store, both the 2026 home and away kits were designed to have the front number placed perfectly in the center of the chest. Seeing the actual match-worn version shift the number to the side under the logo is a massive and rather bizarre change from the retail version.

Just a few days ago, England debuted their red away kit in a friendly against Uruguay. In that match, the front number on the away shirt was perfectly centered, strictly adhering to the original product images released by the brand.
