Macron have announced that they will become the new technical sponsor of Cameroonian club Canon Sportif de Yaoundé starting in April of this year. The Italian brand have been increasing their presence in the African market recently, having also signed deals with the national teams of Chad and Comoros.

Canon Sportif de Yaoundé is a historic club on the African football scene. Founded in 1930, it is based in the capital city of Cameroon. In their 92-year history, they have won 10 national titles, 12 Cameroon Cups, 3 CAF Champions League titles and an African Cup Winners' Cup.
The club's kits are currently made by Belgian company Fura. Judging only from the images of the their home shirt, the new deal with Macron should see a significant improvement in quality and design.
