The second colorway of the new Nike MercurialX Proximo 2 indoor and turf soccer shoes introduces a stealth look, a stark contrast to the uber-striking launch color. The black and pink Nike MercurialX Proximo II boots are expected to go on sale in early July.

Predominantly black, the new Nike MercurialX Proximo II indoor boots once again take cues from the latest outdoor colorway of the Nike Mercurial Superfly V. They feature a pink MercurialX writing on the outside heel, while the Swooshes, a large one on the outside and a smaller one medially, boast a reflective finish. Rounding things off are the sole, coming with a traditional gum color (black on the TF (turf) variant) and the Dynamic Fit collar in grey.
Tech-wise, the black Nike MercurialX Proximo II football boots boast an extra layer of protection in the forefoot area compared to the Superfly V. In general, they have a one-piece Flyknit upper, while a thin layer of synthetic NikeSkin is added on top in order to offer more protection and to improve durability.
The sole has also been completely reworked for the second-gen Nike MercurialX Proximo. A "full-length Phylon midsole with sipes for light, responsive cushioning" is at the base of the new Nike MercurialX Proximo II soccer boots, while a new outsole was created specifically for this shoe.
Set to be available for indoor / court (IN) and turf (TF) surfaces, the black Nike MercurialX Proximo II football boots should be available from early July. They retail at $175.
