Italian Serie A side Parma Calcio 1913 "will be wearing kits made out of a new and advanced material designed by Erreà Sport which protects against microbes and bacteria". Parma will debut the kit in tonight's Serie A clash against Inter Milan.
Erreà Parma Ti-energy 2019-2020 Kit
The special Parma 2019-20 home kit has the same visual design as the usual Parma 2019-20 home jersey. However, it comes with a cutting-edge fabric called "Ti-energy".
The special Ti-energy technology has many advantages according to Errea - See the press release below.
"The product of years of experience from Erreà in nanotechnology, a focus for the company since 2008 and something perfected during the COVID-19 crisis, their new Ti-energy fabric is remarkably advanced in its qualities and function, thanks to two bits of specialised technology which keep zinc oxide nanoparticles permanently incapsulated in the shirt fibres, helping to give the kits an antibacterial trait, as well as treatment with Minusnine J1+ to make the fabric completely water-repellent.
These two characteristics allow the fabric to form an effective and protective barrier to droplets, liquids, microorganisms, chafing and the formation of body odour.
Ti-energy also holds a fundamental water-repellent property, preventing all liquid that comes into contact with the material from soaking in and thus keeping the material dry at all times. The liquids simply fall away in the form of droplets, taking any kind of dirt or bacteria with them.
This new Ti-energy material, just like all of Erreà’s clothing products, is also Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified and eco-friendly, only requiring short wash cycles at low temperatures and a minimum amount of detergent to reduce energy consumption and as a result cause less harm to the environment. This certification is especially important and serves as a testament to how conscientious Erreà are of ongoing events while adding yet another measure to keep athletes safe."
