In November 2017, Adidas released the training collection for the German national football team. However, the training items the German national team players are wearing in their training camp for the Russia 2018 World Cup are different to those Adidas presented in Fall last year.
Adidas Mercedes Germany 2018 World Cup Player Exclusive Sponsor Collection
Germany's national team players are not wearing the training shirt Adidas released but a special sponsor version of the Germany 2018 World Cup home kit with the Mercedes logo in place of the Adidas branding on the right chest. The Adidas logo is printed on the middle of the jersey.
The right sleeve and the back of the jersey boast the logo of Mercedes' 2018 World Cup campaign, 'Best Never Rest'.
Germany's coaching staff and Germany's goalkeeper are wearing the actual away training kit that Adidas released, just with the Mercedes logo on the left chest and the Adidas logo placed in the center.
The Mercedes sponsor version of the Adidas Germany 2018 World Cup match kit and training kit are not available to buy.
Interestingly, Germany's players are wearing the actual white training jersey in press conferences and other media occasions.
The Adidas Germany 2018 World Cup collection worn by their players will be the last sponsored by Mercedes. In July 2017, the German national team signed a deal with their rival car maker Volkswagen to become the main sponsor of the national team from 2019. Volkswagen is reported to be around 25 million Euro / year for the deal.
