All Adidas Kits Ordered From Adidas US Feature Incorrect, Old Streamlined Kit Font
New York-based X user Spiros (@SpiroKasimis) ordered the Arsenal 2023-24 home kit with Henry #14 on the back, but he did apparently not liked what he got. Instead of having the official Premier League or Arsenal Cup typeface, it featured the old Adidas 2020 typeface. Arsenal never used it.
At least, the Adidas US website shows the "correct" preview with the wrong typeface, so Spiros must have been prepared.
For the brand-new Inter Miami 2024-25 home kit, Adidas is still not greatly prepared. While it is possible to buy the ready-made authentic Messi kit with the correct name set, it is not possible to customize the kit with any other player - like Suarez, Alba, or Busquets.
2024 will see the launch of a new streamlined kit typeface by Adidas
Adidas will launch a new streamlined kit typeface for its 2024 international kits. It remains to be seen if the 3 stripes brand will fix the problems with the wrong typefaces, especially also for the 2024-2025 season.
