A blackout prototype of an all-new Puma silo has been leaked online. Called Puma evoTOUCH, the totally new Puma Boot will be the new third top model used by Puma's superstars after the high-end Puma King Boot hasn't received any high-profile on-pitch player support since 2013. And as the name already suggests, the Puma evoTOUCH Boots are made for creative players, set to be worn by Puma athletes such as Cesc Fabregas and Yaya Toure. But now let's get straight into the Puma evoTOUCH.
Puma evoTOUCH Prototype Blackout
This is the blackout Puma evoTOUCH Prototype Football Boot.
Made for ultimate touch and control, the new Puma evoTOUCH 2016 Boots combine a leather upper with a high-ankle collar. The concept of the Puma evoTOUCH Boot is somewhat identical to the Nike Magista Obra Tech Craft Kangaroo leather boots - combining the 'revolutionary' sock-like high-ankle design with a leather upper to create the ultimate control leather boot.
Similar to the Nike Tech Craft leather boots, Puma added an extra layer of ultra-thin Kangaroo leather on the upper to create a boot that offers the unrivaled touch of leather boots without the disadvantages of traditional leather boots such as a high weight and much water uptake. It also allows Puma to remove the traditional stitching of leather boots, which are made to prevent that the leather overstretches over time.
For increased stability, the Puma evoTOUCH 2016 Prototype Boots features an external heel counter. And even though the first pictures don't give us a good view at the sole plate yet, it's already visible that the totally new Puma evoTOUCH Soccer Boots will feature conical studs. That is again remarkably similar to the Nike Magista Obra.
