Update: Adidas released a new magazine showcasing the Adidas 2025 Archive third kit collection. The magazine also confirms that third kits are coming for eight more MLS teams in 2026 - and while Adidas wants you to guess the teams, Footy Headlines already has the final list.
Adidas 2025 MLS 'Archive Collection' Third Kits Released
Adidas 2026 MLS Archive Third Kits - Austin, Chicago, Houston Dynamo, Montreal, Orlando City, Philadelphia Union, Salt Lake & Vancouver
Adidas started supplying a third kit to MLS teams in 2024, but only for a few select teams. 5 in 2024, 10 in 2025 (two more were planned by scrapped), and 8 in 2026.
The 8 teams to get an Archive third kit in 2026 are: Austin FC, Chicago Fire, Houston Dynamo, Montreal CF, Orlando City, Philadelphia Union, Real Salt Lake & Vancouver.
Some of the MLS teams to get an Archive have a long history (e.g., the Vancouver Whitecaps), while others (e.g., Austin FC) were just founded a few years ago. Therefore, we expect some of the Adidas 2026 MLS third kits to go directly back to the archive, while others should be invented classics.
