The Premier League surprise champion of last season, Leicester City and its jersey supplier Puma today unveiled the new Leicester 16-17 third kit to complete its set for the upcoming season. Already available to buy at the club store, the Leicester City 2016-17 third shirt again features King Power as main sponsor.
Leicester City 16-17 Third Kit
This is the new Leicester City 2016-17 third shirt.
Predominantly white, the Leicester City 2016-2017 third kit boasts blue pinstripes on the front, while the rest of the jersey is kept low key and almost entirely white. The neckline of the Leicester City 16-17 third shirt sees more blue trim in the form of piping around the back.
Taking inspiration from the Foxes' 1983-84 kit, the new Leicester third kit will be worn during the club's quest to defend its first ever league title, as well as in Leicester's debut Champions League season.
Continuing the look of the Leicester City 2016-2017 third jersey, both the shorts and socks are white with blue trim.
During the photoshoot for the launch, Marc Albrighton said: “The white kit is beautiful, it’s got the pinstripes which is a bit different to what we’ve had in previous years and I think the extra little touches make it look pretty special, we’re looking forward to wearing it. As well as playing the part you’ve got to look the part, so I think PUMA have done a good job.”
