Adidas to Increase Soccer Jersey Prices in the USA, Other Regions to Follow?
As of what US retailers have reported to us, Adidas is raising its football kit prices in the U.S.. Below are the proposed Adidas U.S. pricing changes:
- Replica kits: $109 (up from $100, a 9% increase)
- Authentic kits: $159 (up from $150, a 6% increase)
- Kids' kits: Remaining at $80
The increase in replica kit prices stands out as the most significant adjustment, with a nearly 10% surge. Authentic kits also see a modest rise, while kids' kits remain unaffected.
European countries and others could be also affected
Adidas last increased the price of football kits in 2023, when the increase was even higher..
We do not know if similar price hikes will apply to European markets and other regions. So far, there has been no confirmation, but the changes in the U.S. market may set the tone for future adjustments worldwide.
