Adidas Supplying Authentic Kits to More Teams?
Adidas currently has six elite teams: Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Juventus, Bayern Munich and newcomer Newcastle. Aston Villa, although not a top club, will also receive authentic kits in the 24-25 season.
The remaining teams such as AS Roma, Ajax, Lyon and Besiktas will continue to receive replica kits as they still have old deals with Adidas.
Footy Headlines predicts that Adidas is ready to supply more teams with authentic kits thanks to a new policy from CEO Bjørn Gulden. He is the former CEO of Puma (2016-2022). Adidas has announced that he will be the new CEO of Adidas from 1 January 2023. Previously, Puma gave much more teams authentic kits.
