Unveiled by Adidas in a surprise move yesterday and set to be worn in the game against Sporting Gijón at the end of this month, the Adidas Parley Real Madrid kit introduces a clean design that aims to raise awareness for the fight against the pollution of the ocean.
Adidas Parley Real Madrid Kit
This is the special-edition Adidas x Parley Real Madrid home jersey.
Obviously deriving from the iconic cleanness of Real Madrid's all-white home kits, the Adidas Parley Real Madrid kit manages to up this impression by combining a white base with subtly applied light grey logos. Those logos on the Adidas Parley Real Madrid jersey were printed onto the fabric using water-based paint in an environmental friendly process.
An Adidas x Parley label with an integrated NFC chip that allows fans to learn more about the partnership is visible on the hem of the all-white Adidas Real Madrid Parley shirt. Additionally, a back-neck tape with Parley's 'For the oceans' tag is also prominently featured.
The shorts and socks of the Adidas Parley Real Madrid kit are entirely white and don't feature any logos. Unlike the Adidas Parley Real Madrid shirt, which is available to buy at €90, the shorts and socks won't go on sale.
