Japanese legend and oldest professional player in history, 55 year old Kazuyoshi “King Kazu” Miura, made his debut for his new side at the weekend, helping the Suzuka Point Getters get three points against ReinMeer Aomori, and he did so in some style.
Suzuka Point Getters 2022 Home Kit
Check out the Suzuka Point Getters home kit below.
The confidently-named Point Getters play in the Japan Football League, Japan’s fourth division, and they do so while wearing an eye-popping blue home kit with a pattern of huge green and blue circles covering both the shirt and the shorts, front and back. The circles create the effect of ripples spreading out from water drops, and the colour scheme is reminiscent of lily pads sitting on the surface of a pond.
The kit is made by Athleta, who used the same design for the club's away, third and goalkeeper kits, all with different colour combinations.

The club also has a very interesting badge, with a checkered flag motif to represent Suzuka Circuit, the city’s famous car racing track that is featured in the Gran Turismo and Forza video game series, among others. The square shape, black outline and coloured symbols make the badge itself look like a button on an arcade game.

The JFL side is managed by none other than King Kazu’s big brother, Yasutoshi, who is 56 years old. So between the kits, the badge, the name and the Miura brothers, there are plenty of reasons to support the Suzuka Point Getters.
