One week after Messi used them in training, the new Adidas Nemeziz Messi 19 Copa boots are out.
Originally scheduled to be released in June 2020 and in time for the 2020 Copa America, the launch has been postponed as the tournament was moved to next year. Messi will wear the boots in the UEFA Champions League 2019-20 second-leg against Napoli and in a possible final tournament.

The boots boast a unique design inspired by Messi's home city, Rosario and the place where he has spent most of his life, Barcelona.
The Messi Nemeziz Copa cleats combine the colors "Team Royal Blue / Silver Metallic / Solar Yellow". They feature various graphics celebrating Messi. What is unique about these boots in particular is that the graphic does not repeat and is unique on the right (Rosario) and left (Barcelona) shoes.
It is not the first time that Adidas releases Messi boots inspired by his home town Rosario. The German brand already released a Rosario-inspired boot in 2015.
