Irish club Bohemian FC, based in Dublin, today presented its new away kit for the 2019 season, which curiously pays homage to none other than Bob Marley.

This is the new Bohemian FC away jersey by O'Neills.
At first glance, it's difficult to see the connection between and Irish Premier League club and reggae king Bob Marley. But more than a tribute to the Jamaican singer himself, it is one to the music culture linked to the club.
Besides acts such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ice Cube, Faith No More or Sonic Youth, Bob Marley and The Wailers have played a concert at Bohemian FC's stadium, Dalymount Park. This means that the club's home has played a unique role not just in the sport bus also the music history of Ireland. Which led to the creation of this unique kit.
Bob Marley's face appears on the lower right part of the shirt, while the vertical stripe on the opposing side represents the colors of the flag of the Rastafari movement. These colors are also found in the sleeve cuffs.
Currently available for pre-sale, the Bohemian FC Bob Marley shirt is set to be shipped from the second week of December.
