French giants PSG posted an interesting image of the locker room ahead of the Champions League match against Istanbul BB that shows off which cleats their players took with them, including Mbappe, Neymar and Marquinhos.
Paris Saint-Germain Players & Their Boots They Took To Istanbul BB Champions League Match
Logically, Paris Saint-Germain's players did not only take one pair with them to but a few different with different stud configurations. All players had at least three different pairs to choose from for the match.
The reasons why player got more than one pair are simple and logical. First, they can choose the boots depending on weather and pitch conditions. Second, they can replace the boots if one gets broken. Third, it is always better to have some options in reserve.
In example, Neymar had three different cleats with him - two Puma King Platinum signature boots as well as a blackout next-gen Puma Future Z.
Marquinhos
Marquinhos had three pairs of the Nike Phantom GT with him, with at least one featuring a SG configuration (on the right - seems to be the most used one).
Neymar
Neymar got two Puma King Platinum signature boots and a blackout next-gen Puma Future Z. He chose the Puma King Platinum for the 90 minutes.
Mbappe
Kylian Mbappe had three different pairs with two different stud configurations - Pink Panther (FG), Dream Speed (FG & SG-Pro). He wore the MDS FG boot in the match.
Kimpembe
Kimpembe even got four totally different cleats - Mercurial Vapor Neighboorhood, Adidas X 20.1 Ghosted as well as two Adidas F50 Adizero 2014 boots. He wore the Vapors in the match.
Kurzawa
Kurzawa got two black Nike Phantom GT and one pair of the regular launch colorway of the Nike Phantom GT.
