Brazilian club Fortaleza yesterday evening released their new third jersey. And while the design of the kit is nothing very special at first glance, it's the fact that there are three different versions of the shirt that make this release special.
Fortaleza Reveals Three Third Kits With Different Designs
Each kit follows a special approach.
Officially called 'Révolution', the in-house Fortaleza EC third kit refers to the French Revolution, which began in 1789 and overthrew the old absolutist monarchy with the basic principles: "Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité" ("Liberty, Equality, Fraternity"). Because of this, three different models were created, each representing a basic principle.
The 'Liberté' kit features the French flag and has a design with horizontal stripes in two shades of blue with a light blue line in the chest area and a uniqe white collar.
The Fortaleza 'Égalité' jersey is the same as the 'Liberté' kit but comes with a special classic whitre crest instead of the French flag-inspired logo of the first third shirt.
Last and least, the Fortaleza 'Fraternité' jersey has a red horizontal strip and the current club logo on the left chest area.
