Adidas revealed a second Adidas Messi 2015-2016 Prototype Cleat featuring a unique mid-cut collar design, which reminds us of Nike's Dynamic Fit collar concept.
While Adidas already revealed a Messi Primeknit Concept Football Boot last week, the German brand now gives us another unique insight into the development of the Adidas Messi 2015-2016 Boots. So let's take a look at the second Adidas Messi 2015-2016 Prototype Concept Boot.
Adidas Messi 15.1 Concept Development Sketch
This draft shows the unique Adidas Messi 15 Prototype Soccer Cleat (Big thanks to @SC101).
At first glance, the new Adidas Messi Concept Soccer Boot looks pretty similar to early prototypes of the Nike Magista Obra Cleats, which were unveiled one year ago.
The spectacular Adidas Messi 2015-2016 Prototype Cleat features a black Dynamic Fit collar with a tongue-less design. The football boot and sock hybrid offers flexible ankle support and a sock-like fit. Interestingly, the leaked Adidas X 16.1 Prototype Cleats feature a similar collar around the ankle with a tongue-less design.
While the techfit collar concept didn't made its way to the Adidas Messi 15.1 Boots, the special Adidas Messi 2015 Prototype Cleat boast a unique diamond-shaped upper construction, which is connected to the laces of the boot. Made for more stability, lightweight and a lockdown fit, the unique cage keeps your foot in place. The final version of the Adidas Messi 2015-2016 Boot also features a cage in the midfoot area.
The Adidas Messi Prototype Concept Development Sketch combines the understated colors white and black with striking yellow applications, while there is no Messi branding on the upper.
Unique. What do you think of the new Adidas Messi Concept Boots?
