The Bayern Munich star posted photos of his damaged away kit following the match, showing extensive tears that left parts of the jersey completely ripped open. According to a social media post referencing the match, there was an ironic twist to the situation: "Union tears Musiala's jersey, but Musiala is the one who gets a yellow card for complaining—exactly my kind of humor.

The images clearly show the extent of the damage, with a large section of the jersey torn open, revealing the inner mesh lining. Musiala added a laughing-crying emoji to his Instagram story, likely as a criticism to the referee who did not call a foul.

It is not the first time an Adidas kit has ripped during this season - the authentic Adidas kits are not faulty but seem to rip more easily than in previous campaigns.
