It appears that Aaron Ramsey has joined Nike, after he wore a pair of Nike Phantom GTs from the Blueprint Pack in Rangers’ 3-0 victory over Dundee in the Scottish Cup quarter finals yesterday on Sunday.
Ramsey Joins Nike from Adidas?
Ramsey was a New Balance player from 2015 until 2018. When that deal expired, he switched to Adidas, although he wore the Nike Phantom Vision II for the first half of 2020, then again in one single game vs Fiorentina in 2021, when he took to the field in a custom white and red pair of Phantom GTs from the Nike by You service, seen below.
Until this latest switch, he had been wearing Adidas Predator Edge boots. The most recent picture he posted to his instagram account is from the game against Dundee with his bright orange Nike boots clearly visible. The fact that he did not wear blackout boots and that the Phantom GTs are so prominent in the photo suggests that he has signed a deal with Nike.
