American brand PONY have rereleased a pair of Tottenham kits from the 90s.
PONY Relaunch Classic Spurs Kits
The name PONY probably doesn't mean much to younger fans, but in the 90s they kitted out a number of Premier League clubs including West Ham, Southampton, Coventry City and Tottenham Hotspur. The brand is celebrating its 50th anniversary and have reissued some pieces from their back catalogue, with more supposedly to come. So far, the only football items are Spurs' 97-99 home and 95-97 away shirts.
The kits are like for like reproductions of the originals, complete with era-appropriate club badges and front of shirt sponsors. These elements of jerseys are sometimes forcibly left out on remakes for licensing and legal reasons, but Pony seem to have found a way around those issues. Check them out below.
Tottenham 97-99 home Kit
This is the Spurs 97-99 home shirt.
The new Tottenham Hotspur 97-99 home football shirt is white with navy piping on sleeves and a thick, overlapping v neck collar. The cuffs match the neckline while the body of the shirt has a shiny finish.
The club's Latin motto is found on the back of the shirt.
Tottenham 95-97 away Kit
Check out the Tottenham Hotspur FC 95-97 away football shirt below.
Tottenham Hotspur's new 95-97 away shirt is purple with navy stripes. The polo collar is complemented by the navy design on the ends of the sleeves, which are otherwise plain purple.
