Plymouth Argyle Announced New Shirt Sponsor for 2023/24 Season - Return to Bond Timber

League One outfit, Plymouth Argyle have announced that they will be getting Bond Timber as the club’s new shirt sponsor for next season.

Bond Timber will be replacing the club’s current principal partner, Project 35, which will move to be the back shirt sponsor of the Green’s shirt instead.

The collaboration with the renowned timber merchant won’t be the first as they were Argyle’s shirt sponsor back in 2011/12 until the 2013/14 season. The timber merchant’s return as Argyle’s main shirt sponsor seems like a calculated move as they were already collaborating with the club as its training wear partner in the 2022/23 season.

shared values and our local community are important criteria in the selection process.

Explaining the decision in picking Bond Timber again as the shirt sponsor for next season, The Green’s CEO, Andrew Parkinson reveals that it’s simply because the company ticks all the boxes. “As with all of our commercial arrangements, shared values and our local community are important criteria in the selection process. Bond Timber score highly in both of these regards,” Parkinson explained.

Meanwhile, Timber’s General Manager, Shaun Getson can’t hide his excitement following the partnership again for next season. Getson stated that supporting local sports have always been the company’s main concern. “Bond Timber has a long history of supporting local sport, and to have our brand representing Argyle at such an exciting time brings that commitment to life,” Getson stated.

At the moment, Timber will only be the club’s main shirt sponsor for one season, a similar situation to the 35 Project. More information about Arglye’s new jersey with the South England-based company’s name logo up front will be revealed next summer.
