Adidas have finally officially launched their latest signature boots for Lionel Messi and the first to be based on the new Adidas X Speedportal football boot model.

The Adidas X Speedportal Messi boots are called "Balon Te Adoro", which means "I Love You, Ball". Their design pays homage to his your club Newell's Old Boys. A lifelong supporter of Newell's Old Boys, Messi joined the Rosario club when he was six years old. He played six years for Newell's before joining FC Barcelona.

Please note that the boots were initially shown off exactly one month ago, although they were not immediately available for sale and retailer-adjacent media removed their articles shortly after publishing.

The 22-23 Adidas X Speedportal.1 Messi soccer boots pay homage to his youth club, Newell's Old Boys. They combine the main color white with black and red for graphics and logos. The Three Stripes are black, while the sole plate and graphics are red.

The upper features different words and slogans such as "Siempre Juntos" (Always Together) and "CompaƱero" (companion).

Tech-wise, the new 'Balon Te Adoro' Adidas X Speedportal.1 Messi soccer boots are exactly the same as all colorways released thus far.

The new Adidas X Speedportal Messi 2022-2023 'Balon Te Adoro' boots are available since 6 September, 2022, retailing at 250 USD (EUR 220, GBP 180).
