Adidas today revealed what are one of the most interesting Adidas Glitch skins to date - two boot skins that reflect the design of iconic shoes from the mid-2000s. Big thanks to Footpack for the images.
Last year, Adidas already released Glitch skins inspired by the legendary Adidas Copa Mundial and a F50 skin inspired by Messi's F50 Chameleon 2010 World Cup boots.
New Adidas Glitch 2.0 Skins Pay Homage To 2006 Boots
The new Adidas Glitch 2.0 skins pay tribute to the 2006 Predator Absolute and the famous F50+ "Spider".
Adidas Glitch Absolute Skin
The Adidas Glitch AbsoluteSkin brings back the look of the Adidas Predator Absolute 2006 World Cup soccer cleats. The particular colorway is the white and gold model worn by Michael Ballack in Germany's home World Cup.
Unveiled just before the 2006 World Cup in Germany, the Predator Absolute featured a ultra-modern design for the time but also new technologies such as the appearance of the PowerPulse, an Adidas technology aimed to shift the centre of gravity of the shoe.
The remakes of the boots just comes with the design of the OG cleats - in example, a large golden part shows the presence of the famous Predator tongue in 2006.
Adidas Glitch F50 Skin
The other skin in this "Classic pack" is inspired by a shoe model from 2005 - he F50+, and, in particular, the Adidas F50 'Spider' edition.
The new Adidas Glitch 2019 Classic Skins are set to be available exclusively in the Adidas Glitch App.
