This is the Newcastle United 2016-17 Home Shirt.
The new Newcastle United 16-17 Home Jersey returns to classic stripes after Puma made various different and often criticized experiments with Newcastle's iconic stripes in the past years.
While last season's Newcastle Kit was combined with unusually many blue details and applications, Puma combines the Newcastle United 2016-2017 Home Shirt with 'Victory Gold' details to create "another iconic strip" for the Magpies.
The Newcastle United 2016-17 Shirt is again sponsored by Wonga. And whereas the current kits feature an old Wonga logo, the Newcastle United 2016-17 Kits boasts the new Wonga logo for the first and possibly last time as it's expected that Wonga won't renew their sponsorship deal that was signed in 2012. The new Wonga logo breaks up the classic design.
