Bayer Leverkusen 18-19 Away Kit Released

Bayer Leverkusen today launched their new away kit for next season, which is inspired by the uniform worn when the club won the UEFA Cup 30 years ago.

Leverkusen clinched their first international title in a memorable two-legged final over Espanyol during which they managed to come back from a 3-0 loss away in the first leg to finally win in penalties. Produced by smaller brand Jako, the Bayer Leverkusen 2018-19 away shirt will be worn for the first in this weekend's Bundesliga game away against Werder Bremen.

Leverkusen 18-19 Away Kit

This is the Jako Bayer Leverkusen 2018-2019 away jersey.

True to the historical model, the new Leverkusen away shirt has a round collar and black and red diagonal pinstripes running across the front. The 11 stripes in the colors of the club represent the players. On the inside of the neck is a design element featuring a stylized UEFA Cup trophy and the words "30 years UEFA Cup winners".

"Werkself" is written on the back of the neck in a font derived from historic Bayer 04 logos.

White shorts and socks complete the kit.
