Out of nowhere, the Portugal national team wore an updated version of its away kit, the famous uniform it had worn numerous times at the Euros in France earlier this summer. Interestingly, it happened against Switzerland, just like it had for France, also supplied by Nike, during the tournament.
Portugal 2016 Away Kit - Updated
This is the one-off Portugal Nike jersey worn against Switzerland.
Instead of featuring darker sleeves as the Portugal 2016 away jersey that was unveiled in March and worn at the Euros, the Portugal kit worn against Switzerland comes without that detail and boasts sleeves in the same color as the shirt, presumably in order to follow UEFA's uniform regulations.
Additionally, the Portugal shirt featured the all-new badge commemorating this summer's Euro win.
