Varane Trains in Next-Gen Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Boots

Real Madrid defender Raphaël Varane has become the second player to train in blackout Nike Tiempo Legend 6 2016 Prototype Soccer Cleats after Dani Carvajal already laced up in the next-gen Nike Tiempo Legend Boots some months ago.

In fact, Varane's teammate Dani Carvajal trained in blackout Nike Tiempo Legend VI Prototype Boots in April 2014. Dani Carvajal revealed various details of the upcoming Nike Tiempo Legend Cleats, while we now finally get a second look at the black-out Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Prototype Cleats.

Close-up pictures of the blackout Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Varane Boots.

Raphaël Varane definitely wears the same boot as Dani Carvajal, even though the blackout look is designed to hide the final boot design. The Nike Tiempo Legend VI Raphaël Varane Prototype Cleats feature a big Swoosh on the outstep, while the instep comes with a smaller Swoosh.

Featuring a super soft Kangaroo leather in the upper, the next-gen Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Boots ditches the traditional stitching of leather boots and introduces an all-new support skeleton. The xray skeleton is made for a consisting fit.

While there is basically nothing new about the upper, the French defender gives us the first closer look at the sole plate of the boot. The Nike Tiempo Legend VI Cleats feature a mixture of conical studs and triangular studs in the heel area - it's almost identical to the current outsole of the cleats. For more stability, Nike introduces a new external heel counter for more stability.

Interestingly, Raphaël Varane usually wears the low-cut Nike Magista Opus Boots. It now looks like that the central back will switch to the Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Boots, which are set to be released in December 2015.

Totally new upper. What do you think of the blackout Nike Tiempo Legend 6 Boots? Let us know in the comments below, and also check out all tech details, price and release date of the Nike Tiempo Legend VI Boots.
